Krystle Frey
Creator and Founder of Pivot Ball Change
Hi there! Thank you so much for being here. I’m Krystle, the face behind Pivot Ball Change. This business started as me hosting my own podcast for creative moms and has since turned into a service-based company where I offer my podcast editing expertise to busy mamas who host their own shows.
Once I became a mom, I found it way harder to pursue creative outlets and was desperately searching for a way to express myself that would honor my current lifestyle. That’s where Pivot Ball Change comes in! Those of you with a dance background will recognize the name, but it also goes hand-in-hand with motherhood. We constantly have to be on our toes (pun intended ;) and roll with the pivots and changes that come with the daily grind of motherhood.
As a former professional dancer/choreographer I use my experience of editing thousands of hours of performance music and directly apply it to the audio editing that comes with podcasting. My goal is to make your life easier. You can count on me to take all of your podcast editing stressors off your plate. I get it, being an entrepreneurial mama is hard enough. Let me help you get your voice out into the world with ease!

Paige Leck
Podcast Editor
Hi everyone! My name is Paige, I am one of the Editors at Pivot Ball Change. I have been with the network since May of 2024.
Like our founder Krystle, I too have had a large pivot from my original career as a Registered Nurse. I worked on an orthopedic/neurology/trauma floor at a trauma center in Kansas City and then as an ER nurse at a local hospital for several years when we lived in the Twin Cities. After being in MN for 4 years, my husband received a huge job opportunity that relocated our family to Wisconsin. When we moved, I took a step back from bedside nursing to stay home with our then 2 month old son (yes, I moved to a new state with a newborn!). Just over a year later, we added our daughter and I became a stay at home mom of 2 under 2. Through that season, I was looking for something that I could call “my own”. During my childhood, I was a musician, thespian and artist of several mediums. So when my kids went to sleep at night, I picked up some old hobbies from my childhood and started creating again to feel a little more like myself. This lit a fire in me to find a new career that helps me express my creativity more. And that’s where Pivot Ball Change came in!
I love utilizing my critical thinking, time management, and people skills I learned from nursing school to work with your team to get the project done on time. And when editing your podcast, my creativity will produce the best sounding show for your listeners!
Interesting Facts About Me:
From: Illinois, specifically northern suburbs with lots of corn fields!
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Winona State University
Career: RN, BSN for the last 10 years. Currently a SAH mom to two beautiful kiddos!
Family: My husband, Chris, and I have been married since 2017. We actually met on the first day of undergrad and have been together ever since! We have a son who is 4 and a daughter who is 2. And a golden retriever/yellow lab mix who is a sweetheart!
Personality: Classic first born daughter, type A, control freak, recovering perfectionist lol
Favorite Broadway Musical: I have such fond memories listening to the soundtrack of “Showboat” with my grandma as a child - it will always have a special place in my heart. However, Wicked was always my favorite story for several years. I finally got my husband to see a musical with me a few years ago, The Book of Mormon, and he LOVED it! It brought me such joy to see him enjoy a passion of mine. How is one supposed to choose only ONE musical?!
