Krystle Frey

Creator and Founder of Pivot Ball Change

Hi there! Thank you so much for being here. I’m Krystle, the Founder and CEO of Pivot Ball Change, a podcast network dedicated to amplifying women’s voices and helping female founders share their stories with clarity, confidence, and impact.

What started as a creative outlet evolved into a full-service podcast production company and growing network. Today, we provide strategic launch support, full-service editing and production, SEO-optimized show notes, content repurposing, and ongoing management for women-led podcasts. Our clients include shows that rank in the top .04% of podcasts globally, and I have personally helped over 20 women launch their podcasts, several of which have reached the Top 5 on the Apple Podcast charts.

But Pivot Ball Change is more than production. It is about visibility. It is about helping women step into leadership through their voice.

My career path has never been linear, and that is exactly why I do this work.

I began as a professional ballerina, where discipline, performance, and resilience were non-negotiable. I pivoted into dentistry as a registered dental hygienist, later transitioned into Human Resources leadership, and ultimately built my own company full-time. Each chapter sharpened my ability to lead, communicate, build systems, and support people through growth.

Those pivots were not random. They were strategic. Small changes that led to significant transformation.

Now, I help other women, especially moms, make those same intentional pivots in their lives and businesses. Whether it is launching a podcast, outsourcing what drains them, or finally using their voice publicly, I believe small, courageous shifts create massive long-term results.

If you are a woman building something meaningful and ready to expand your reach, I would love to connect.

Paige Leck

Podcast Editor

Hi everyone! My name is Paige, I am one of the Editors at Pivot Ball Change. I have been with the network since May of 2024.

Like our founder Krystle, I too have had a large pivot from my original career as a Registered Nurse. I worked on an orthopedic/neurology/trauma floor at a trauma center in Kansas City and then as an ER nurse at a local hospital for several years when we lived in the Twin Cities. After being in MN for 4 years, my husband received a huge job opportunity that relocated our family to Wisconsin. When we moved, I took a step back from bedside nursing to stay home with our then 2 month old son (yes, I moved to a new state with a newborn!). Just over a year later, we added our daughter and I became a stay at home mom of 2 under 2. Through that season, I was looking for something that I could call “my own”. During my childhood, I was a musician, thespian and artist of several mediums. So when my kids went to sleep at night, I picked up some old hobbies from my childhood and started creating again to feel a little more like myself. This lit a fire in me to find a new career that helps me express my creativity more. And that’s where Pivot Ball Change came in!

I love utilizing my critical thinking, time management, and people skills I learned from nursing school to work with your team to get the project done on time. And when editing your podcast, my creativity will produce the best sounding show for your listeners!

Interesting Facts About Me:

From: Illinois, specifically northern suburbs with lots of corn fields!

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Winona State University

Career: RN, BSN for the last 10 years. Currently a SAH mom to two beautiful kiddos!

Family: My husband, Chris, and I have been married since 2017. We actually met on the first day of undergrad and have been together ever since! We have a son who is 4 and a daughter who is 2. And a golden retriever/yellow lab mix who is a sweetheart!

Personality: Classic first born daughter, type A, control freak, recovering perfectionist lol

Favorite Broadway Musical: I have such fond memories listening to the soundtrack of “Showboat” with my grandma as a child - it will always have a special place in my heart. However, Wicked was always my favorite story for several years. I finally got my husband to see a musical with me a few years ago, The Book of Mormon, and he LOVED it! It brought me such joy to see him enjoy a passion of mine. How is one supposed to choose only ONE musical?!

Becca Chadwick

Podcast Editor

Hey there! My name is Becca and I am one of the editors at Pivot Ball Change. I joined the network in November of 2025. I’ve been a stay-at-home mom since 2021. After adding our second in 2022, I felt the pull to find something I could do for myself during naptime, an outlet where I could continue using my skills, explore something new, and be part of something bigger than my little SAHM world. That pursuit led me down the path to become a virtual assistant in 2023, working with a variety of small businesses and solopreneurs on the behind-the-scenes work of their businesses. It also led me to cross paths with Krystle, which first sparked my interest in podcast editing, and eventually led me right here to Pivot Ball Change.

Stepping into the world of podcast editing made perfect sense for me. I’ve always had an eye for detail, a love for storytelling, and a natural tendency to organize anything and everything. My background as a virtual assistant taught me how to manage moving pieces, meet deadlines, and support creatives in a way that helps their work shine. I love taking something raw and shaping it into something polished, clear, and easy for listeners to connect with.

Interesting Facts About Me:

From: Wisconsin, born and raised and can’t imagine living anywhere else!

Education: Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language from the University of Wisconsin-Madison

Career: I spent 8 years as a Service Coordinator with a local Birth to 3 Program before becoming a SAHM.

Family: My husband, Troy, and I have been married since 2017. We have two boys who are 5 and 3, and an Aussiedoodle named Maverick.

Personality: Deep thinker, list lover, and detail-obsessed (in the best way).

Favorite Broadway Musical: Hamilton. I love blasting the soundtrack when I’m cleaning - it makes it a lot more fun!

Currently Reading: I just finished reading the newest book in the Dream Harbor series by Laurie Gilmore - they’re like Hallmark movies in book form!
